Our next stop was China to attend the Chengdu Wine Fair held March 26–28. This fair began more than 60 years ago as a commercial platform between the different states for products of daily consumption, such as soft drinks, liquors, cereals, and others.
Unlike other trade fairs around the world, the Chendu Wine Fair is divided into two sessions. The first five days were held in the Kempinski Hotel and focused on trade, while the final days of the fair were held in a convention center and were aimed at consumers, with an attendance of approximately 60,000 visitors.
The fair’s wine section has grown steadily since the first foreign wineries participated in 2008, and this year more international companies took part than Chinese.
This tour allowed us to once again show our portfolio of products to different types of consumers around the world, with very positive and auspicious results for VIA Wines and its brands.
During the month of March, VIA Wines and its core brands, Oveja Negra, Chilcas, and Chilensis, participated in important trade fairs in different parts of the world.
We began in Dusseldorf, Germany at ProWein 2015 on March 15–17. This fair has become one of the world wine industry’s most important shows. This year it had 5,970 exhibitors from 50 countries and more than 52,000 visitors.
It was a very successful three days, during which were able to show our clients the latest innovations for each brand.
